In his art, Arno combines highly developed technical skills as a master printer with his dreamlike vision of the nature of space and reality. He allows his understanding of color, light, and space to take form as sweeping dreamscapes of mood and motion, creating an effect easily compared to a surrealistic environment.

    "In my paintings, I strive to communicate the energy of colors in the form of a landscape, through which the viewers can turn their minds inwards to relieve the stress of today's high-paced life. Through my work, I explore reflections spontaneously arising from various dreams and travels, offering glances into the Ideal World - peaceful, yet instilled with powerful vibrant energy."

 

   So soft, and yet so strong' is an impression often expressed by his viewers. The unique technique invented by Arno further enhances and complements the soft, meditative quality of his paintings. Since 1992, he has been painting the original watercolor monotypes that have made him a favorite in private and corporate collections world-wide.
